Do you have any retail outlets/ showrooms?
Yes. We have 4 retails outlets in the North West of England. Please see our About Us page for the address and contact details.
Do you send samples/ swatches of your rugs?
Unfortunately, we do not have samples or swatches of our rugs but sometimes it may be possible to send you some tufts of the pile of certain rugs. We try our best to take close up shots of our rugs to show the pile as best we can. However, if you are unhappy with your purchase we do offer you a 7 day money back guarantee – please see our Returns Policy.
How do I contact you?
Emails are always preferable wherever possible. However, our full contact details, address, phone & fax can be found on the Contact Us page. We endeavour to answer all your queries within 24 hours.
What methods of payment do you accept?
Credit cards, Debit cards, Paypal, Cheque, Postal/ Money Order. Please see our Payment Methods page for full details.
Do you offer a printed brochure/ catalogue?
Sorry no. With our ever-changing stock, the availability of the internet and the flexibility of our online rug builder we do not provide a printed brochure/catalogue.
Are the colours on your website accurate?
The colour seen on your monitor is usually about 95% accurate and a good representation of the true colour of the rug. This can, however, be affected greatly by the quality of your particular monitor and its colour calibration. Whilst we make every effort, including state-of-the-art photography to present a photo that accurately represents the real colours of each rug, we cannot be held responsible for any colour misrepresentations. Is the rug I am ordering in stock?
We do our utmost to ensure that the vast majority of our rugs are in stock and are ready for dispatch. Occasionally, however, we may be out of stock of a certain colour, size or design. If so, we will call or email you with an estimated delivery date as well as the option to choose an alternative rug or indeed get a full refund.
You may wish to call us before actually ordering to check if we have stock of a particular rug, that’s fine.
Are the rug sizes listed exact measurements?
All rug sizes listed are approximate.
What do you charge for delivery?
For all Mainland UK addresses, delivery is free of charge. Please contact us at sales@therugcompany.co.uk for delivery charges to offshore and international addresses, before you make your order. For more details, please see our Delivery/ Shipping page.
Can you ship internationally?
At this time, we cannot accept online orders for international delivery. However, please email us at sales@therugcompany.co.uk with the name/code of the rug you would like and the address you would like it shipped to. We will get back to you with a quote for the shipping, an estimated delivery time frame and payment details.
How long does delivery take?
We aim to dispatch all rugs within 5 working days of your payment being approved. In most cases our delivery times are much sooner, between 1 and 3 days. In other cases, delivery times may be longer. Please allow upto 28 days for certain orders. Please be aware that any delivery dates given are estimates only and can NOT be guaranteed. For further details please see our Shipping/ Delivery page.
If I don’t like the rug can I return it?
Yes! We want you to be 100% satisfied with your rug, so please take advantage of our 100% Money Back Guarantee. You will need to contact us within 48 hours of receiving your rug for a RAN (Return Authorization Number). Please see our Returns Policy page for full details.
Is child labour used in the production of your rugs?
No! TheRugCompany.co.uk only deals with companies that carry the Rugmark or Kaleen logo. This guarantees that no child labour is used in their production.
